About Me — AS&K Health Services

My Story Didn't Start in a Classroom. It Started With a Diagnosis.

A few years ago, I was handed a diagnosis that changed everything: Graves disease — an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid and throws your entire body into chaos. Fatigue, anxiety, heart palpitations, weight changes, brain fog. I tried medication after medication. I trusted the process. I did what I was told.

Nothing worked.

After years of struggling — feeling like my own body had become a stranger to me — I refused to accept that this was simply how life had to be. I started asking different questions. Not "what drug can manage this?" but "why is my body doing this, and what does it actually need?"

The answers I found changed my life.

Food Became My Medicine

I discovered that what I was eating was working against me. I had been eating a vegetarian diet, believing I was doing the right thing — but for my body, my biology, my condition, it wasn't enough. I made the shift to a Mediterranean whole food diet — rich in quality proteins, healthy fats, colorful vegetables, and anti-inflammatory foods — and everything began to change.

My energy came back. My symptoms eased. My mind cleared. For the first time in years, I felt like myself again.

I hadn't found a miracle. I had found something far more powerful and far more sustainable: the right information, applied consistently, with intention.

From Patient to Guide

That experience ignited something in me. I realized that so many people are exactly where I had been — frustrated, unheard, managing symptoms instead of addressing root causes, and completely unaware of the profound power that nutrition and lifestyle hold over our health.

I knew I had to learn more. I had to do this properly.

Five years ago I earned my Nutrition Certification from Cornell University — one of the most respected academic institutions in the world. I then pursued further education to become a fully certified Health and Wellness Coach. I didn't stop learning because I had a certificate. I kept going because the science keeps evolving — and my clients deserve the best of what we know.

Today I combine the rigor of evidence-based nutrition science with the lived experience of someone who has genuinely been through it. I know what it feels like to be let down by the system. I know what it feels like to take your health back into your own hands. And I know — from personal experience and from years of working with clients — just how transformative the right guidance can be.

My Mission

I founded AS&K Health Services with one clear purpose: to spread health.

Not wellness trends. Not quick fixes. Not one-size-fits-all programs. Real, personalized, science-backed guidance that helps people live longer, feel better, and take genuine control of their health — the way I wish someone had helped me when I needed it most.

Whether you are dealing with a chronic condition, struggling with energy and weight, trying to prevent disease before it starts, or simply wanting to live a longer and more vibrant life — I am here to walk that path with you.

Your body is capable of extraordinary things. Sometimes it just needs the right guide.
